Good evening everyone, and congratulations for surviving April Fool’s day. Today, we held the first two drawings for the calendar raffle. If there are ANY tickets still out, they NEED TO BE IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Really.
Anyways, We’re meeting here at Memorial at 6:45 all three days. Even if you are going with a parent or friend, we would request that you check in here and help us pack. We will be leaving for Lewiston at 7:15 on Thursday, and 7:00 on Friday and Saturday.
We will be meeting back here in the evenings to discuss the day, and go over whatever the profiling crew has turned in.
Thanks, and good night.

Good evening everyone! Tonight, March eleventh, we worked on the second robot, which is coming along nicely. However, we are still behind on fundraising. The Seadogs fundraiser ends with the month, as does ticket selling for the calendar. About the calendar, everyone needs to sell a MINIMUM of 10 tickets. If you run out, come back and get more. We will be meeting on Wednesday this week, and serving a Knights of Columbus baked haddock dinner on Friday. During the dinner, we will have a 50/50 raffle, and be selling calendar raffle tickets.
Also, we need to contact businesses that donated last year. There is a list in the robotics room where you can sign up to go contact them. We want to be sure to thank them for their previous donation(s), and see if they would be willing to donate again this year. Thank you, and have a good night.

Good evening everyone! As of tonight, this year’s robot weighs 87 pounds! Once we add the second pneumatic cylinder and the ten pounds of zip ties that always seem to appear, we should be just barely under weight. The frisbee shooter is now actually on the robot, as is the frisbee lifter. The two work pretty nicely together (we still need some tweaking there).
On a relatively unrelated topic, the Weeples are under construction, and we finally have things going on pom-poms. There are HATS for sale! Give us ten dollars, and you could walk away wearing one of the classiest hats you’ve ever seen. The hats are black, warm, and each sport a Jethro surrounded by flames.
We still need prizes for the calendar raffle, so let’s get moving. We would like the prizes to be in by the fifteenth, so we have plenty o time to sell tickets. Thanks, and have a good night.

Tonight was a brief meeting. We are mounting the “frisbee picker upper” and the shooter. We sure did.
